A Hydrangea Arrangement Made from My Garden to the Balcony

Creating a floral arrangement using flowers from your own garden is one of the most rewarding home projects. In this post, I’m sharing how I made a hydrangea arrangement from my garden and styled it on my balcony to create a calm, welcoming space.

Why I Chose Hydrangeas from My Garden

Hydrangeas are one of my favorite garden flowers because of their fullness, softness, and natural elegance.

Here I am❤️. I really love hydrangeas

When they are in bloom, they don’t need much help to look stunning.

The Beauty of Home Grown Flowers

Using flowers grown at home adds meaning to any arrangement.

These hydrangeas weren’t store bought; They were grown with care, patience, and love. Every bloom reflects time spent gardening, watering, and watching them grow through the season.

Choosing the Right Blooms

I selected hydrangeas that were at their peak, large, healthy blooms in shades of green, white, and blush pink.

Mixing soft colors creates a natural and balanced look without overpowering the space.

How I Made the Hydrangea Arrangement

I created this hydrangea arrangement using fresh cuttings from the hydrangeas growing in my garden. I walked around the yard selecting blooms in different shades of green, white, and soft pink to create a full and natural look.

After cutting the stems, I immediately placed them in water and trimmed each stem at an angle to help the flowers stay hydrated longer. I then arranged them loosely inside a white vase, allowing the large blooms to naturally fill the space without needing extra greenery or filler flowers.

What I love most about using hydrangea cuttings from my own garden is that every arrangement feels personal and unique. It brings a little piece of the garden onto my front balcony and makes the space feel peaceful, fresh, and connected to nature.

Selecting the Vase and Arranging the Flowers Naturally

I chose a clean, white vase to let the flowers stand out. Neutral vases work best for hydrangea arrangements because they highlight the blooms without competing with them.

Hydrangeas are naturally voluminous, so arranging them didn’t require fillers or greenery. I placed the largest blooms first and allowed the rest to fall into place, creating a lush, effortless look.

Bringing the Garden to the Balcony

Once the arrangement was finished, I moved it to my balcony, one of my favorite places in the house.

I love how perfectly the hydrangeas blend with my early fall decor😍

Placing garden flowers on the balcony instantly transformed the space. Surrounded by hanging ferns, fresh air, and natural light, the hydrangeas created a seamless connection between indoor and outdoor living.

Making a hydrangea arrangement from my garden for the balcony was a small but meaningful experience. It reminded me to appreciate the season, my home, and the quiet joy found in simple moments. Every time I see the arrangement, I’m reminded that the best things are often grown, not bought.
